Hallmark TV App is making some of your favorite Hallmark Channel movies and shows available on hallmarkchannel.com in partnership with participating television providers. In order for you to watch these programs for free, the Hallmark TV App must verify your television subscription by having you log in with the username and password provided by your television provider.
It is free. As long as your television provider is participating and you receive Hallmark Channel from your television provider, you pay nothing extra to watch these shows and movies on your computer.

Yes, the movies and series can be watched with closed captions.
To activate closed captioning on the Hallmark TV website, mouse over the video while it’s playing and click on the “CC” button in the lower right corner of the video. Select “English” and the closed captions will appear below the video. Click the “CC” button again and select “off” to turn the closed captions off.
To activate closed captioning on the Hallmark TV app, tap the screen once, then tap the text box icon in the lower right of the screen. The status of the captions will be visible, either “off” or “on,” and tap the status to change it.

If you’re having trouble using the Hallmark TV App on your iOS device (app crashing, videos not loading, etc.), we’d first like to make sure that there isn’t an issue with your internet connection. If there are other applications you use with your device, test them out. If the issue is exclusive to the Hallmark TV App, the first step would be to gather information about your internet connection.
Please visit (//speedof.me ) on your web browser and click the "Start Test" button. Please let us know the results you receive for download speed, upload speed, and latency. We recommend a download speed of at least 2.0 megabytes per second (mbps) for a consistent stream with the Hallmark TV App.
If your speed is above our recommendation, first make sure your iOS software is fully up to date. If so, please power down your phone for about 30 seconds, then power it back on, and try streaming with the Hallmark TV App once again.
If you’re still having trouble, uninstall and reinstall the Hallmark TV App. To do so, press down on the app until it wiggles. An x button should appear on the top left corner of the app icon. Once you've uninstalled the app, go into the App Store and download Hallmark TV App once again.
Lastly, from the Home screen of your iOS device, click Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. When you have done that, log back in to your Wi-Fi network, and open the app once again. (If you’re on a cell phone carrier network, skip this step.)
